Well, you got to hand it to them, they are making the right moves.

I won't begrudge a fellow Aussie company for taking the chance to make something big of themselves on the world stage. In fact, it gives me more admiration for them.

Bastards!

You've got to hand it to Bob Lutz, he's one of the brightest guys in the business. Well done to him, it nice to see someone in the states finally recognising aussie cars talent. Now we just need someone in the ford hierarchy to recognise that ford aus has an even better car ready and raring to go, which could walk mince through the commie when the AV comes out.

I wonder if the Commo sells well as a ElCamino weather they'll send the falcon as a ranchero

Makes two of us mate. Good on Lutz and GM-H for taking a golden opportunity like this. Hopefully Ford will take notice and do something similiar in the future..

Yes, things are on the up and up for Holden. Good on 'em, but I do wish Ford Oz had a bit more scope and could export our fine products onto the world stage.

Think what you may about the product, but holden is having a Golden run. I belive its a good thing generally.

Theres talk that isn't unbeliveable that holden may produce 500,000+ cars a year within 10 years. Thats a hell of alot.. Think of what Holden could do with that sort of volume and money, the development..

its good to see Holden doing well, hopefully it means that FoMoCo world decides to combat the all singing holden products with its natural predetor, the Falcon.

Its not too late for Ford. If the AV is as ancipated, then Ford OZ can go on a global romp as well. If the product is upto scratch, if not they could be closing up and dissapearing.

Heres to the AV.

it's really up to USA now - if they decide to make the falcon a global product, it will live. if holden goes on as planned, ford Oz WILL get hammered by holden! holden will have more fund to invest back in R&D which won't be the case with ford.
