Someone posted something similar to this somewhere, so I'm not trying to take the credit, but how good would it be IF
Picture this - you're at Queensland raceway at the next V8 Round... theres no cars on the track, everything is quiet...
Then you hear a roar and a spooling/induction noise.
No announcement or anything, but then, Marcos and Seto and Lowdnesy come flying around the track.

Fanging the absolute shit out of them, sideways and smoking, do one lap and them park them away in a truck where they will be hidden.
Could you imagine the publicity and attention this would bring?
It'd be all the punters would talk about all day.

unfortunately, no-one appreciates burnouts any more. I did a HUGE burnout on the way to uni and everyone dissapproved >:(
Some people thoiught it was cool. How bout that fish :)

Not neccesarily burnouts/smoking it... just a hard out lap would be awesome.

At a race track, everyone approves of burnouts...

Why else do you think the drivers of the VB challenge cut sick after they have raced??

And if people dissapprove, why the hell idid the build the 'burnout' mustang??

I REKON ITS A GREAT IDEA,FORD WOULD HAVE TO BE STUPID NOT TO LET IT HAPPEN.I REKON IF THEY DID IT EVERYONE WOULD LEAVE STRAIGHT AFTERWARDS,WHO WANTS TO WATCH HRT WIN EVERY ******* WEEK.

Would be nice, however TV ACTS LAW thingy wont allow it. They are trying to put a stop to promoting fast cars and so forth.

Maybe do as you stated, race around the track, delete the burnout thing, and have the occasional powerslide into a corner or a sideways exit out of a corner.

Oh, and use the following cars

- XR6 turbo with boosting sounds and frontal shots, ie: intercooler

- XR8 with growling V8 sounds and quick manual throws

- and GT, crossing the line first, qucikly!

I'm sure there will be a few, if not all BA falcons there, The Qld 500 is in mid september, and the BA is released early september isnt it? There will be no need to hide them, cos they will have already been released. I'm sure Ford will have something large up their sleves for that one.

all agreed:) yea that TV ACTS thing annoys me, pollies have no idea:( but would be good to see, hopefully Ford Aus will give us a good show, if they need some more drivers ill be up for the challange

mate i know what u are talking about...everyone is going soft!

anyway..yeah it would be awesome but i somehow doubt the will be a T Series/GT there
