I met up with fellow Ford Forumer TeeHee (Mike) the other day, turns out he lives in the next street! Yesterday we went on a bit of a mountain bike ride in the surrounding hills and paddocks of our district (sorry we couldn't join you other fellows in Blue Mountains) and then topped the afternoon off by having a short drive of TeeHees TE50!! :s6:
What a great car! It has one of the best sounding exhaust notes I've heard for a long time, with a slight crackle just audible as you back off. Even though it's only a 200kw job it goes very well, it would be very interesting to compare some of the other Ford Forums members' cars that have half this much power again. Unthinkable!:crazy2:

The 200kw comment didn't quite come out the way it was meant, 200kw is great when compared to my 150kw 6cyl EB, but low when compared to later cars that have 220kw and soon 250kw.

Thanks for the comments Ross, anytime mate. They really are great cars, 200kw is heaps, I can’t imagine what 250kw is like never mind 330.
I really enjoyed the ride, I was suitably stuffed after it so it must have been good. We’ll have to meet up with the Sydney riders and do the Blue Mountains trip someday, I’ll have to improve my fitness though!!.
