Now... How do I say this? I SAW a GT-P Wagon!! It had the bulge, the stripes, the badges and the front kit - pretty much everything. Now, why don't I have a digital camera?! I don't know what to think, but it looked like a damn good mock-up - surely Ford could sell a few of these puppies as exclusive items (much like the SS wagons).
No I don't have pics. I was at the lights in a shitty mood with my Mrs, saw this hybrid (I'm guessing!) thing, wound down my window swearing my head off with my jaw on the road (yes, my mood changed for the better)!!
Can't remember the exact colour, either Mercury Silver or some weird pale blue (55% sure) that I don't think haven't seen before.
I saw it come out of Knox City Shopping Centre (south-east Melb suburbs). So keep your eyes peeled and see if you can get a word with the owner and some piccies...
Although a fake (it had to be) it was very exciting. Just needing to vent my excitement!!

Very interesting. The fact that Ford has dropped the Fairmont wagon shows the direction they are going in. But I had seen a few 'fake' SS Commodore wagons, which wouldn't be all that hard to do. But would be very pricey to option a BA Futura up to GT spec, so who knows...

I saw this exact wagon driving through Albury Wodonga a few weeks ago. I couldnt beleive what i was seeing either, and it was towing a trailer too. Cant remember what was written on the trailer but they were selling something.
