GT3 Review!
Well, it's been a week since I've gotten GT3 and I have to say that the game certainly had me contemplating staying up for the first 3 days! I'm sure most of you have heard of it's incredible graphics and gameplay. Have to say...that's true...all of it!
However, there are some draw backs that I found!
1) The Ford Focus listed in the game is the 1999 version! I mean, they chucked in the Mustang Cobra SVT so I'm sure they could've updated the car accordingly. Being a Ford and rally fan, I found this very disappointing. I mean, the Ford Escort is included even though it's been out of the rally scene for a couple of years now!
2) Most of the tracks are retained from GT2 but I've been told that there are 2 new tracks (I didn't really play GT2 a lot so I can't compare).
3) The BMW section is the most disappointing. They only have the 328i (no M series or even a Z3)!
4) Porsche and Ferrari are missing (although RUF is included with Porsche cars that have not been named as Porsche (but looks exactly like 'em)).
However.......Tickford is included and has the Seton XR8 in it as you might all know. The car itself isn't as powerful as some others in the game but I have to have it in my garage anyway.
And if you're into rally as much as I am, the rally section is just unbelievable! I even took the effort of getting all gold in the license test (you actually need to get a license to compete in rally).
But overall, I would have bought the game anyway. And if you love Japanese manufacturers, you'll love this game! Every single Jap manufacturer is represented well in this game. This game should keep you up for ages!!
And if anywant wants a time challenge, especially in the rally tracks, I'm up for it! :D
