On Sunday night, a pack of dirty thieves gained access into the secured car-park at my house and stole my wheels.

Keep a look out for any AU or BA falcons running around with GT-P wheels.
These wheels are ONLY available if you own a GT-P. So I don�t imagine there would be too many floating around the second hand market.

If you happen to spot them on a car, do not approach them. Instead please PM me with the REG, type & color of the car and area. I have been advised by the Victoria Police Organized Motor theft squad who are interested to hear the details of such sightings.

The police told me it was likely the wheels were 'stolen to order' and the thieves were professionals as they ignored the car alarm which was being sounded at the time and also the anti-theft lock nuts which are designed to prevent theft.

The wheels have a special 'data dot' security embedded inside them for easy identification by police.

So keep your eyes 'banana-peeled' for them.

Bloody hell what have we gotta do to keep our wheels on our cars. 5 different lock nuts on each wheel made out of some super hard metal. FFS

I live in an apartment with secured parking. Now I don't feel safe anymore. They must have been monitoring your movements for quite some time in order to pull off such a stunt. You're lucky not to have the bastards take the entire car...but still it sucks coz those wheels look absolutely fantastic!

Guys, lets help Cam out by keeping our eyes peeled. These wheels aren't hard to spot. We've got to teach these bastards a lesson. Perhaps Laminge can volunteer to sit on them for 20 minutes each.

Unfortunately I know of a few people who have had a variety of gear go missing from "secured" car parks. At the end of the day, they are only as secure as the dodgiest person who has access to them.

Ah well, fingers crossed they catch the guys and get the wheels - hopefully they are still in good nick.

That just sucks...what have you got to do put a security guard on your car 24/7. Hope you get them back undamaged and some unspeakable thing happens to those bastards who stole them.

If it's any help Wheel King in Melbourne sells all types of new Ford rims, and also trades them second hand........he has gt-p and gt rims also. You might be able to get yourself some newies there at much reduced prices than your local ford dealer.

Sorry to hear that Cam.

I believe lock nuts are a load of crap.
They will take the wheels off anyway, it will just take a little longer.

When I had my car stolen they ended up kicking the guards in, in fustration I am sure, before getting the wheels off.

Sure is annoying though.

Just go out & buy some steelies to keep you going.

What the bloody hell is going on with the place. Im hearing of lots of rims getting taken everywhere over Melbourne. The pricks are on the look out for any decent rims. I'm dreading for me to go out and see my AU on blocks and my BA 17's missing. I'm Guessing there not no wear near as good as the GTP rims but there still fetching good prices.

Who the hell would buy a gt-p without insurance Maximus I think thats a silly question. Cam very sorry to hear about the wheels I love your car. Any other damage done to the car at all around wheel arches. What about under side of car. Is Insurance paying up.

there used to be a roaring trade in VT SS and VX SS wheels.. now the scum are going for the ford wheels too.
