Not sure I could bring myself to talk to that guy but feel free to express our feelings while you are at it. Personally I think he is on the right track with the questions he already has lined up. Just wonder if the companies are up to telling the truth

Well all I can say that Peter Handmeaburger obviously wants to exit on a particular note, that is a pretty big statement, considering Ford where here first and have been building the Falcon for longer, we didn't ever get that total of how many Falcons have been produced. They should have that as a running counter on the Ford Australia home page.
To top it of how can any manufacture say it is more Aussie than Ford, Ford was the one who first came up with the UTE. Now what is more Aussie than that.

As for the accuracy of the questioner from the Herald Sun to the major 4 I don't know how reliable it would be. After all I can't figure out how Toyota claims its Camry is Victorian when it has parts coming in from all over the world to make it.

We really shouldn't be that surprised by the claims coming out of Holden. They are going to extend their press people to try and sensor senior management in future before this sort of thing happens. Didn't this guy go on to say that he hoped an Australian would take the helm when he retires to go back to his native land in a few years.

Good call.. The guy is a tool, no question about it. Having said that, the PR Departments of the big 4 had better have some pretty handy BS ready to answer the questions. It'll come down to whoever can stretch the truth enough and then sell it to the general public. It won't matter if it's the god honest truth, it just needs to be PR manure to convince Joe Public..
