haha cops cracking down on hoons

What a golden article this one is.

I do the 400m faster than stock family cars do 0-100kph! Not bad, considering it's a family car and I've only really changed the camshaft! To a camshaft from another family car that is.

Re: haha cops cracking down on hoons

They did this a while back in Brisbane. Some low lifes in VS V8 utes were doing burn outs at the local hang out. Got the anti-hoon press going and Transport came and defected all the mega buck ricers that hung out there.

When I asked the cops why they didn't pull over the VS utes with their 18's on the front and their burn-out pursuit wheels on the back, they said they were legal and weren't causing any problems, it was all these illegally modified cars

Tried to explain what had happenned but they weren't interested

Haha, yea true, My mums 1.5 Mazda gets to 100 quicker than 18 seconds and sometimes you have to floor this thing to get up some hills. Shows how mis-informed the police can be

Re: haha cops cracking down on hoons

that copper who said 18 and 10 secs obviously got 0-100km/h mixed up with 400m times. At least i hope he isn't that naive that it takes as much as 10 seonds for a modified car to get to 100!
