Depends how much money you waste on computers that you should be 'investing' on your car. Half-Life really was the greatest single player first person shooter. it seems that Half-Life2 will live upto that.

I'm more interested in what will happen with Counter-Strike. Seriously the best game ever (even if it is just a mod of half-life)

They are releasing the source code for Half-life 2 for all the modders out there, so I don't think it will be long after the release of HL2 that we will see a counter-strike like mod for it.

Ive never played Half-Life or Counter Strike.... but if it comes anywhere near Battlefield 1942 or the mod Desert Combat i'll have to get it.

same here eb_5litre. i havent played the original HL, and i've only played CS a few time, but i can't see what all the fuss is about
anyway, i've seen a short video for HL2, looks good, and i'd assume you'd also need a good computer...
