Last night i went and got my copy of Halo2 at midnight (yer yer im a nerd what can you do), all i can say is DAMN what a game!! Ive been playing it for a bit and i cant put it down but ive still got exams so i have to get someone to hide it from me!

Its heaps better than the first one and im glad it took so long to come out casue its definetly worth the wait!!

Im sure the people who have already got it are playing as we speak but who has already got it and what do you think?

It is a dedicated XBOX game, the original Halo was XBOX's premier game, bungie was approached by microsoft to make Halo a supergame for xbox's release. Halo was original meant for Mac and it was supposed to be release in like '98.

Halo was better on the Xbox than it was on the PC.

Yeh I spat on Halo when i played it on Xbox. Controls were shithosue.

Got it on PC and its the best. Really needs a friend or two playing on co-op mode to get the best out of it though.


So is it gonna be released at all on PC?

Maybe you played a different Halo to me then, seeing as it was improved over the Xbox version and as long as you had a half decent video card looked as good or better - 1024x768 or better can't be done on an Xbox

Bungie used to write games for mac only like Marathon and i have read that halo was a macintosh game before microsoft bought bungie out. I have seen the mac screen shots and it is very similar to the xbox version. If you goto some halo websites they tell you the history of Halo. Initially it was supposed to be a command a conquer type game.

Never played it on PC. Was going solely on several magazine reviews that almost unanimously suggested that the Xbox version felt better, played better, was better.

Personally, I don't give a rats arse either way. Now, where's my controller.
