Anyone as excited as me for November 9th (Halo 2 release date)?? H2 is going to be sooo good! Unfortunately I don't have Xbox Live so won't be able to fully enjoy the game but I'm sure I won't be too disappointed!!

Have to say though...things must be looking pretty good for Microsoft at the moment with sales/image/etc. There are some pretty reputable games coming out over the next year or so...Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Doom 3, BC, Half Life 2, etc

Good time to own a Xbox!

Make sure you watch 60 minutes on 17 oct...have a story on the video game industry...seems to talk about H2 as well.

Yep, got Halo 2 on order, I still play Halo 1 & never get fed up with it, if 2 is only half as good it'll still be worth the dosh.

my 8yr old daughter is hooked on Halo now & is about half way through. when we play "blood gulch" she keeps wasting me with the sniper rifle...

I played the original game tonight and walked away after 10 minutes... can't really see what all the hypes about, just another 1st person shooter with non-human like creatures (like we need anymore ?)

I'm not saying it's a bad game or anything because it probably entertains many sci fiction fans or shooter fans ect. But to say it's the greatest game ever and it's the most highly anticipated game really puzzles me... have I missed something?

The reason it was so popular is casue its the first (successful) team-based FPS on console. Trust me, if you havnt played it wiht a freind then you haventgotten the most out of it.

I got rid of my xbox cuz i thought Fable was never coming! Looks like im gonna have to get anpther one so i can play Fable & HL2

when i bought my xbox got the halo pack, played it once and never went back to it...(maybe V82 took priority at the time) might pull it out to see what the fuss is about..

btw. love my green xbox so much more than the black ones :D
