I think this post belongs in the politics section and is bound to offend someone but-

The CIA cannot even find OBL and Al Quida let alone see if Hamas make CBW.

Most information intelligence agencies generally rely on paid informants in the Mid-East and since the late 80's the CIA is retissant to send operatives to Palestine due to bad blood between Mossad and the CIA. Thats another story but. I don't think anyway Hamas has CBW as they are using a simple scare tactic to make the Isrealis think twice about further incursions into the occupied territories.

September 11 is seen by millions as a attack by OBL and Al Quida on innocent American lives or was it Mossad to drag the Americans into supporting the war on Terror, no one knows. Just innocent people getting caught up in big power plays in the cauldron of the Mid-East.

After all Mossad (Israeli secret service) funded Hamas to destabilize the PLO in the 80's. Just like OBL was funded by the CIA as he was quote "a effective operative with sound military, logistical and financial backing".
Then they like Mossad created yet another monster of their own making.

A very touch feely subject- Jews vs Muslims. I won't state my personal comments here of course on the final solution to a such intractable conflict would be...... like in Dr Strangeglove......

Ariel Schlomo and Yassar Arsefat have been at each others throats since the war in Lebanon in the 80's. Now they are heads of opposing country both with old settles to score. One minute they were signing a peace accord then somebody walked into a mosque and all hell broke loose. Both sides also see it fit to drag the conflict on for their own means and ends no-matter the sacrifice and it seems no-one seems to be safe.

An eye for a eye and a tooth for a tooth. Isreal shoots a Palestinian boy throwing rocks at a tank, Resteraunt in Tel-Aviv gets blown up. A vicous cycle that knows no end. Well at the moment to be a cold hearted cynic the Isrealis seem to have the edge over the Palestininans by about 3-1. 3 Arabs die for every Jew. Anger and retaliation know no bounds.

Isreal recieves horrendous terrorist acts by Palestinians however the way Zionists removed the British from Palestine in '47 would hardly be classified as liberation as cold blooded terrorism. Not to mention the mindless witchunt for Nazis that followed long after the war and many assassinations and trials were mostly on allegations not proven under law.

Now im just waiting for the peace to break in Northern Ireland. Everybody seems to love marching season there..... not to mention the potential cival war on our doorstep in New Guinea whilst were too busy licking GWB's boots in Afganistan and the 'war on terrorism'. Sounds like to me LBJ's speel on the war on communism and the domino effect in the 60's.
Not to mention the Abu Siaf in the Phillippines and the errie similarity to the Viet Cong in Nam but......

Who is a terrorist and who is a freedom fighter I do not know.
Atleast Gen Cosgrove is more open than he's predecessor Adm Barry when it comes to the military's voice. As for a war in Iraq it seems to me that the CIA is running its revolving door dictator policy which Aussie grunts lives are mere pawns in a bigger game of-

each generation of my family has served in some war and its always the poor and blind idealists who fight the rich mens wars.

As long as we're here. Try the following questions and reflect on just stuffed the government schools are (ie, how Politically correct) and how stuffed up our heads are:

define patriotism
define nationalism
define racism
define sectarianism

Now hold those definitions while you consider that Nazis believed in racial purity and (worse) 'impurity' AND why was that important? They believed their culture/arts/engineering/attitude was the best and other were contemptible.

So they were -all at once-- racist, nationalist, patriotic, AND sectarian since the only ideologue tolerated was the orthodox Nazi ideology (Mein Kampf).

So much for the premise of my post which is that

I don't tolerate extreme ***** on religious grounds and cultural grounds therefore I am sectarian.
I don't think they are less intelligent or sub human but I would not tolerate my daughter marrying one of the *****ic extremists since I regard it as a culture with no redeeming quality at all (especially for females) - is this crossing the line from sectarianism to nationalism.
The next step. I wouldn't tolerate my community having extreme *****ists living peacefully or otherwise in it's midst. No way ever. Have I crossed the line and become a nationalist if I act on my intolerance and fight back to preserve the community/providence I (metaphorically) inherited from the hands of my fathers and their fathers?
If my democratically elected politicians run with that intolerance too and defend the nation in a war are we all into nationalist ideology that causes war?
After Sept 11 2001, isn't that where we are?
