Tongue Happy Birthday to my XR8

Just realised now that it was this day in 1994 I picked up my ED XR8, almost $39,000 it costed to drive it out the door and apart from recond. auto, leaking timing chain cover gasket and that annoying front end clunk she's still going strong after 8 years of my missus driving.
Unlike these Dunnydores that have a list of faults as long as an Orang-utan's arm in the first 12 months of it's life. :s6: :s6:

I'm bored

Not bad going, 8 years.
Mine (EF XR8) was bought easter 7 years ago. Now has 94500 k's. Just upgraded the suspension to replace the original. Also just fitted my 2nd replacement set of tyres(average 47000).

Your car travelled low k's for it's age always a bonus when it's time to sell.
Mine's just done 129,000k's

Happy Birthday, does it get a service or a car wash for it's Birthday.

On the subject of km's 129k is low km's compared to mine which has done 208k.

No car wash for 3 months....I'm a slack bastard.
Although the car gave me a present...a flat battery.
Damn Centuary Batteries this is the second one in 5 months, not that worries me too much they have a 2 year warranty so already got a replacement without cost. :s5

Just sold my ED XR8 last month..
Was a June '94, Poly Green 5sp manual...
Had 96,000 on it, I was the 2nd owner, only did
19,000 in 4 years... Spare wheel and tyre was
brand new, never fitted to the car.
Does anyone have any suggestions for helping
me to get over selling it?????
Still got the XR blues.....

(Concentrating on one of those house things....)

Original XD 351 Ute - I got one!!

HSV - I just don't want one....EVER!

My XF 3 on the tree ute is ALWAYS stuck in third......
