It's a well known fact that E series owners flock to cheap parts like greedy seagulls. Well I had a stroke of luck today, because a guy up the road was throwing out many large rolls of carpet insulation from a house. Thing is, it is exactly the same stuff I used in the roof lining and under the carpet of the EA, and that cost me the better part of $100. And well worth it at that. Looks like I've got enough to do a few cars now.
Anyone else find anything interesting in hard rubbish?

Last time we had it here in Burnside SA, an intoxicated friend and I walked around the neighbourhood and collected all the TVs/monitors people were throwing out. Next day (with a clean BAC) we went to a quarry in the middle of no-where and lived out a childhood dream - destroying cathode ray tubes.
Hopefully next time theres a few people throwing out Explorer manifolds and vortech compressors, lol.

mm... i know rob was awaiting such a time to go searching for hard rubbish stuff.
Down near my place we've never had hard rubbish collection so i don't get the joy
