Has anyone drivena bA lately? How does it compare to AU 1/2/3?

I havn't driven an AU and BA back to back, but the feeling I got was the BA is a different class of car. its a clear difference particularily the engine which is was highly impressed with, car doesn't feel heavy at all and driving position is much improved, controls fall more to hand, especially the gearstick.

Yes I have driven many as I work at a Ford dealer. They are exception cars. Shit's all over AU's. The Throttle is so much more respnsove. XR6's are great too. Clucth is Hydraulic now so it's a bit lighter than the cable operated ones of previous models. The new steptronic Auto is great, and the brakes bite alot harder too.

Guys,
I have test driven a BA XR6 n/a manual. Real nice and smooth. Did not drive it too far but even the Barra185 is soo much more responsive than my AUII XR6 VCT. The BA is much smoother in the ride also. I then drive an BA Auto Futura. This was also very smooth. I love the way my AUII XR6 VCT handles but this is just "better"..
