They had that on getaway the other week, looked pretty mad, you drove holdens, but fast ones at that, you get to go around the oval for alot of laps, and get taken around in a full on big horsepower race car, i am not convinced its worth the price for 20 minutes of track time though.

i like the look of this! might get it for me from ME for christmas
i went in a HOT LAP(as passenger 3laps) in a WRX STI with antilag in QLD near dreamworld(the WRX experience i think) it was around $100 and was well worth it for fun VALUE as i doubt i'll ever own a WRX(too expensive for me)
I remember I went to the launch of the new monaros at a place on the Gold Coast just near Dreamworld. For ten bucks you could go for a hot lap in an ss commodore. I thought hmm, well, it aint a fally, but it is only 10 bucks. Man, what a dissapointment. The guy was talkin like he was moving at light speed. He was hittin 170 in some places. I told him to go faster and the if he really thought he was goin fast, I'd take him for a strap in my Bluebird and show him fast.
That v8 Race experience looks like a worthwhile experience though. I'm thinkin I might have to con the missus into gettin that for me for chrissie. mmm V8 Racing.
Better than one in S.A
for $1,000 you get to drive VB to VH V8 commodores, 2 per car, half a race each..
You could go buy a VB V8 for that much
LOL We got a bird at work who's seriously thinking about paying $650 to do 3 laps with Greg Murphy...personally I could think of better ways to spend the dosh.

Would those laps be in the front ..... or back seat?
I was at the races Sunday and they had a V8 experience running. All au/vx cars but the only downside was they wern't real v8s. They had the hole kit and wheels and sounded like a v8 but certinaly wern't v8's just mock ups. We had our little race car down there and the guy who run's the thing said they make good profit. That was until one guy crashed one that day!
Well Winton is having a Fun Day on 19/12/2004 for $20.00
I would rather spend my money on track days in my own (or a mate’s) car than spend money on ride days.
If you have the spare dough kicking around I’d do it. If you like riding around with very quick cars with very quick drivers then it is for you. If you haven’t done any circuit stuff you will probably come out of it with your mind blown. Wouldn’t you rather do a JB course in your own car? Or use the money to do 3 to 4 (or more depends who is running it and where) sprints in your own car.
$590/620 would be a big chunk out of my sprint “budget” – it’s equivalent to 4 wheels, or 3 tyres, or 6200km of petrol, or Cams L2 licence and entry fees for a few sprints, etc, etc ……
