Question Has Fairlane been upgraded ?

During my recent ban from the privilege of posting on the Forum, I am inquiring as to the status of the current Fairlane:

Does the current LWB Fairlane still have the SOHC 6 cyl engine?

Does the current LWB Fairlane have the Windsor V8 option?

I am aware that the Barra platform will have a LWB option in time to come, but where are the Windsor V8's coming from? (if there is still a V8 option for the Fairlane/LTD)

Any sensible replies welcome, speculation from the uninformed, NOT!

Ford built up enough stocks of the fairlaine with the AU engines range to last then between now and when the updated fairlaine is released next year. So yes the current model still has the SOHC engine and Windsor V8.

No there is no BA fairlaine yet, so what I am saying is that the AU fairlaine still has the AU motors. The BA fairlaine will get BA motors when it is launched.

Anyone heard or seen anything about new Fairlane?

My Ford Dealer said they were due out about March next year.

Do you abandon any logic before asking this question plonky?

The new Fairlane prototypes are now running around Geelong masked up.

Have they revised the side? or just the front and rear?

Thanks for your insight Venom XR. My question was accurately answered by Donut King; as for posing an illogical question, I'll leave that to the L Platers and P Platers.
