Once about 8 months back 85 in a 60, he knew i was going faster but as he said i only got you as you entered the roundabout. I should have lost my licence as in S.A 10 and over on your p's and you can kiss em goodby, but caz i got booked in syd and licence is sa i somehow missed the canclltion bit ?. now i got my full licence and 12 points.

I could have fought it in court as he chased me for a good 800+ meters without lights or sirens, he rekons at 140. Yea right. So that makes it an illegal chase, but i was only going to try that if i lost my licence caz he could have booked me for a few other things as well but didnt.

well for over 4 years i didnt get a fine for anything. i usually speed everywhere i go by about 5kmh and i refuse to pay for parking meters. the start of this year i got a fine for speeding which was 112kmh in a 100kmh zone (was coming home from work after a 10hr shift) although my speedo said 115kmh when i got nabbed but in not going to dispute the speed camera on this one. it was on a loooong straight in the middle of basically nowhere, in which i noticed after coming over the hill there was a white 4WD parked on the side of the road (for which there would be no other reason to be parked there unless it was a speed camera) and yet i still didnt click what it was till i look up after changing CDs and see a nice bright FLASH. well that was that my first ever offense for anything, but it gets better......the car was registered in dads name so i got the fine and told him and considering that he lives in america and i dont he said, to save all the paper work hassles, to just pay the fine and he'd cop the point off his license (not like he needs it if he doesnt live here) so that was cool...still have an untainted license!!!
in the last 2 months i have copped a $40 fine for going through the Bernlie Tunnel without an Etag ( i dont know my way around melbourne at all and ended up going through it not really knowing where i was going) and just yesterday the parking scum gave me a $35 fine for not paying the parking meter.
seems like the good run is now over!!

my worst was a 168km/hr in a 90 zone, but since then 2 for 30k over and 2 for less than 10k's, but have been very lucky not to get done in the last couple of years, nearly have all points back in the pocket.
Got clocked or got spotted doing nearly 200 in a 80 zone late at night saw the lights come on and absolultly shat it. listend on the scanner as the pursuit was terminated about 15 sec later as he said it wasnt a safe road to pursue on, god only knows why as it turned to a 100 zone within a few hundred meters. That slowed me down for about 3 weeks as i wasnt game enough to speed again (for a while anyway). Good thing is they were looking for a black commie after that, so didnt get a good look.

I've never been caught speeding in the four years I've been driving. As for speeding in general, there have a been a few times where I could've lost my license!
