on my monthly stint at Warrnambool - i have travelled home to Melbourne several times.

After 6 seperate trips - i noticed that over 87% of the cars doing long country runs from this country were FORDS.

The other 12% were holdens and 1% were Magnas.

Just thought your might find that interesting.

yeah you will find that the large percentage of cars in the geelong area are fords, for obvious reasons.

It makes the commy brigade stick out like sore thumbs, hence why the little buggers do blockies in there sick Vl's and Vn's; a pack mentality if you will.

i work at the field days every year here in warrnambool and have noticed that of all the farmers that go to it, about 80% are driving a new lower model falcons, 5% are driving new commodores (usually up market and not base model.....these guys are the farmers that are really making a living out of what they are doing) and the other 10% or in 4WDs either new or the old paddock basher.
is interesting to see.

It,s been like that since the late 60,s at least in rural SA.Farmers generally buy Falcons/Fairlanes and a fair percentage of rental,sales rep and local govt cars are Falcons.Commodores are considered to be more a townies/city car ,a bit soft.
