this cat lives down the street got a new neon sxt r w.e with a turbo rofl
he calls me up asking where he can get heluim
for his tires!
wtf is he expect to float?
he said its just to take a few pounds off overall
i tol him to just go ahead and use nitrogen see what happens
pondering on this, is he on 2 sumthing or is this just more rice stratigies?
will it have a ballon effect?

Never heard of using helium (I don't think it would really make a weight difference of any significance) but people ARE using nitrogen more. Some tire shops will offer it at an extra cost. Apparently the molecules are bigger and don't leak through the tires and you get a more stable psi during temperature changes. A lot of racers use it for that reason. And remember, racecar spelled backwards is still racecar.

If you give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day. http://www.cardomain.com/id/johnnyo
Yes, it is a rice thing. I have heard it before. Yup, it's going to lighten the car, so they believe. Hey, if you don't know about cars you have to apply what might sound like logic about a car to give the impression that you do.
Then too, the ricers might need all the help they can get to counteract the weight of that big-ass wing on the decklid.

he went down to the place it called arygle gas and requested this
he said they said they wil have nothing to do with it and canot and do not have extensions for tire valve adaptors.
he bought a tank and filed it with enuf to fill 1 tire in the end i felt that tire, weighed the same as the other 1 felt like
then i explaned to him how he coulda bought sumthing thta actualy work for that price
like stickers
he said he just needs to use a lighter gas
Yeah I Hear Yeah For The Price He Paid For The Non Weight Reduction He Could Have Bought A Whole Row Of Those Go Fast Stickers For The Front Quarter, Should Tell Him To Make His Own. I Can See It Now,
Helium Weight Reduction
