and another big hello from overseas. having a ball. got into london yesterda and staying at my brothers flat so i have much better access to the internet now.

left milan for rome and spent nearly a week there. the little opel meriva, a mini people mover, hit 160 no problems. was completely surprised how well a 1.7 turbo deisel could go. it was amazing, i would be doing 140 and something would fly past me in the overtaking lane...and the something was usuallu german...vx, audi, merc or bmw.

i also discovered why the italians are so religious. it has nothing to do with the pope living there, but you try crossing roads in rome every day and you would become reigious too.

london is raining, and i am off to buy some nice things for myself :-) mostly car related. the shopping list includes a momo gearknow for the RS and some sparco alloy pedals and some alloy window winders.

saw a wonderfully ricey vectra last night, complete with neon. it made me feel at home.

Maaate.. Do yerself a favour & go to Lancaster Gate on Bayswater Rd & have a few pints at the Black Swan Pub. Great meals & some sensational cars to be spotted driving down the road. Every car is either an Aston, BMW, Merc, Jag, etc.. Good fun to be had!

hi all. having a great time in london. weather is english.

bsmyth...will be going to rally design next monday for some nice bits for the escort. i will get mrs rsgerry to take a piccy of me out the front of the place. it will be interesting to see what i turn up there.

bought carry on cabby dvd yesterday for the mk1 cortinas in it :-) also got some more models...fiestas, sierras and of course...escorts. quite hard to find, even over here.

will be heading off to teh pub tomorrow arvo. on saturday i am off to catch a game of football (the round ball version). the lovely little chappies from millwall are playing.

bdave351, sadly the mighty arsenal arent playing at home when i am in london, but got the away strip with DB10 on the back. also got a couple of the toofs historic strips. the 1979 fa cup final strip (any manu fans on here remember that?) and a 1971 red and wwhite strip.

bought loads of cd;s yesterday. have done most of the shopping, off to catch up with some sightseeing and a few old friends.

Good to hear you're having a ball. Nice cool Pommie weather, eh. Been upto 40 here back home. 30 today, 32 tomorrow, a few clouds. Might have to get acclimatised when you get back, hehehe.
