I'm not a great mind on cars can you guys please tell me all about them and what things mean?

You'll have to be a little more specific, 'cause we could easily rattle off thousands of parts and what they mean/do :D

But there is a sister site to Ford Forums called http://www.ford-tech.com/. It's a good start there.

Your quickest/easiest bet would be to get a Gregory's or similar for your vehicle, then get us to explain the bits that don't go into much depth.

the accelerator is on the right. it's the 'go' pedal..
the one next to it is the not so 'go' pedal..
