No problem. It doesn't seem they were trying to trick anyone as they never advertised it as a genuine original and gave very good details on how the car was built and included the VIN.
If you are looking to buy a genuine Cobra then you will need to prepare yourself for paying alot of money. There are alot more replica's built out there than originals as they are a very cool machine and some of the replicas such as the one you linked to are done quite nicely. You can also feel happy about taking one out driving whereas a genuine Cobra is so rare and valuable that I doubt many would be driven except for maybe a club day.

UK start with COB and those sold outside USA and UK start with COX.
