Have you ever driven a car with leather seats? Take one for a test drive before you commit.
My personnel opion is that, yes they look, smell and feel great but wait to you take one for a long drive. You tend to slide down the seat on long trips as they can get slippery. It seems you are forever trying to get back to a comfortable postion.
The Herrod seats look great but it's a lot of money to spend. Go to a Ford dealer and take a XR that has leather seats for a test drive.
Herrod's do have a web site but you have to ring or fax them to get most of the prices.
Ok. You should know that since this was done they have a different, actually many different designs and a new trimmer. I had a bit of a battle with these seat, but I came to understand many months latter that the trimmer was to blame. Rob now uses a different guy and assures me the turn around on these jobs are a lot quicker then the time it took to do what you see here.
IMO the Ford leather looks cheap and nasty compared to these seat. They feel look and smell better and are of excellent quality.
Yes they are expensive, but once again some of the best money I have spent. Not sure about these slipping around claims, never happened in this car. Leather does take alot to look after and it will mark. You need to be aware that getting in and out could burn or scuff the leather and nothing makes leather look as second hand as removing the top off it.
