hi guys im taking my black ba gt auto this thursday to herrods,
im getting the full exhaust and springs put in
jeff tells me i should get an extra 15 to 20 kw

A bit of advice on the springs. I just picked up my XR8 ute yesterday and I had it lowered with kingsprings. Looks great and handles fantastic but when going straight the steering wheel was off centre. I took it back to Ford today they checked the wheel alignment and found it needs a camber kit but I suppose it depends how low you drop the suspension to wether you need a kit or not. So just ask the question kit or no kit just to be sure.

thanks for that rod, i just got off the phone to herrods, its a full kit, the car will go back after 1500 km to check the alighment at no extra charge

Good news for XR8 and GT owners. I have found a number of go fast upgrades including ignition good for up to 15 hp, underdrive pulleys good for up to 12 hp.
I have ordered these in for my GT and think I will order more in for anyone else that is interested in the stuff.

I recon with these upgrades and a good exhaust she should be a winner.

mygt, make sure you record the engine sound before and after and post the .wav file of the sounds so we can all hear the difference that is made by the exhaust

You got an old stereo or boom box. You should be able to record without a Microphone as most of these old boom boxes had them, if you do need a microphone and dont have one you could actually use a speaker in the microphone port of the stereo.

To record it on the pc run Sound Recorder and then plug the stereo into the Microphone in on the PC. The easiest thing would be if you had a laptop, then you could just record it direct as they mostly have mics internally
