Hi all, Just found this forum today after looking at the LS1.com forums. Quite fitting really since last month my ride has changed from a VT Commodore S to a AU II XR6 VCT. I have to say that I certainly have not regretted changing cars. The main reason I looked eslewhere from the Commodore was because I got tired of its build quality and the VT's faults (Clutch dieing after 55,000kays, brake vibration and heaps of other stuff) so after looking around the only option was really an XR.
I have to say from the moment I first drove the XR on some nice roads I knew I had made the right decision. I never thought the Commodore was a bad drivers car, until I drove the XR. The Steering and handling is years ahead of the commodore and I have to say now I don't mind the styling at all. Esp the front end, it looks bloody fantastic IMO.
So sorry commodore fans (hehe if there are any here) but I have to say that the AU is a much better car, some people may not want to admit that but hey thats their problem, not mine.
Pics to come soon:)

Thanks :)
Yeah there certainly are some great products to come. Love the look of the new T series, definatly the highlight of the Sydney Motor Show for mine and after reading the semi review on it in Motor I think HSV may have some problems.

Welcome aboard, your words are music to my ears. I love hearing bad stories about the Dunnydores.
Some may recall I was looking around for a VS Calias, well after much thought and arm twisting from EF Guy I am going to stay with the Blue Oval, just have to work out now what I want, am in no hurry to buy though.
Thats great news BOF 351. I was pretty dissapointed to hear that you were changing camps. If your not in A Hurry then hows about waiting a year for a new AV?
