The XF is stuffed.

On the way home from work, of all days a friday, I hit a dog and basically taken the XF out.

As I was driving along a dark road a magna was flashing their high beams at me furiously. Because I was half blinded by their lights I didn't see what they were trying to warn me about and hit the poor dog at 60kmh with no brakes :(

My car now needs a new front end and the radiator is gone, unfortunatly the dog had to be put down.

What a shocking night....

Spewing mate. Terrible when that happens but there isn't much you can do.

While the damage and the dead dog sux, you did the correct legal thing... no swerve or brake to avoid, but stopped after you hit... If you can identify the owners of the dog then they are liable for your damage....
