I think he got a fair sentance. This is just enough time in prison for him to think about what he had done to this man.

I think he should have gotten more than just 6-10 years. He killed a man, straight out. He gets to live while another man didnt. Not fair in my eyes.

6 - 10 years for violently beating another man to death is WRONG!

How can you get that, yet another man gets 8 years for stabbing someone? (and the guy who got stabbed survived)

It may not be fair, but it's the legal system we have.

In all probability, with good time, he will be out in 2-3 years tops.

He killed someone....

It wasn't self-defense
He beat someone to death with his bear hands
He did this in front of young and old onlookers
There was no question he did it

I wonder what would of happened if he beat his wife to death??

He got off way too light.

I do know the judge was going by MASS state laws, and I do believe he was more harsh than what it calls for. But still, he killed a man bare handed with lots of witnesses. Too light a sentence IMO.

well if he was in texas he would have been given the death penalty. We love executing them here.
