Read Holden Adventra

In todays issue of Drive there is a small article on Holden registering some new names possibly for their upcoming 4WD Commodore.

Holden Adventra will be the general model name in CX6 or CX8.

The Crewcab will be called the "Crewman", and the full 4WD 4 door will be called the "Avalanche'.

So it'll have an 'Avalanche' of problems, requiring repairs by an entire group of Holden service 'Crewman'. With the LS1 probs, we know dealing with Holden is quite an 'Adventra'.

Hoho, I'm am so not funny. :dead:

Adventra? Sounds like a grade 4 attempt at spelling adventure... and in fact, the more I sound it out to myself, the more Korean it sounds! A perversion of an english term.

This is rather disappointing... I was expecting something to top their stirling effort of coining the term "dampolator"!

I think there's already an Astra Blizzard, a dealer pack with alloys and ski racks I think.
