Holden aren't doing it but Starr are.

Looks like a HRT 427 replica plus supercharger.

think the cost must be getting close to 200k mark including the car..

how much is a C5R block worth?

The project starts with a 2003 series 2 Holden Monaro CV8 which with only tens of kilometers under its belt has been stripped to allmost a rolling shell in preperation for complete chassis strengething tied from front to back and side to side and 50mm rear wheel tubs to fit bodacious 18x12 custom in-house designed and built wheels.

Power...let me say that again, POWER will be GENerated from a emmisions friendly ADR compliant 7 litre C5R engine utilising Starr Performances own Patented 3.3L Intercooled Starr-Charger twin-screw supercharger package. From the engine, power will be transferred via a user freindly twin plate clutch and then through a Starr Perfomance only H.T.S. sequential 6 speed manual transmission. Next a V8 supercar driveshaft will move the power southward to a all new differential using a electric solonoid actuated LSD!! Also a Starr Performance ONLY product.

Estimated power will be between 500-550 kw and torque will be at least 1000nm from as early as 3000 rpm all the way to the red line.

The 315/30/18 Pirelli Corsa rear tyres will have a job in front of them as will the 265/35/18's on the front as the brakes are truley massive, using a 376mm front rotor with a 6 piston calliper and 356 rear disc and a 4 piston caliper the braking will match the ample forward thrust.

Suspension will also be unique to this car with a Double adjustable Coil over set up in the front and Double adjustable rear shock absorbers holding the car at just the right height.

The sleeper look is out for this car as a full on German Touring car inspired body kit also unique to this car has been drawn up to match and enhance the coupe's lines.

The interior will match the general tones of the whole car with a racey type feel but will also be refined and purposefull with out missing out on the luxurios feel of a modern day supercar.

I would consider it, but unfortunately that's all I could afford - the deposit! LOL.

500 to 550kw

sounds good, but i'd rather spend the extra $150 000 on a GTP and i'm sure to get more than 500-550kw.
would be nice to see how it looked. wonder if this will be able to compete in nations cup
