Why does "always the bridesmaid and never the bride", spring to mind?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the Raptor concept isn't due for production until 2005? The Holden version will be out next year.
Just once, and only once would I like to see Ford bring out something before Holden. :crazy1:
I've said it before but I can see Joe Public wanting a AWD Commodore as the family wagon as the Commodore is already recognised and proven car. Minimum risk.
Btw, can someone tell me how an AWD Raptor is going to differ, and be more appealing than, a AWD based Commodore, apart from looks?
On the performance front, can anyone say "AWD 350kw 6.2lt GTS-R". I'm betting we will see this next year. Any takers as to when we will see a 'AWD 300kw 5.4lt GTHO". I would hazard a guess at never. *sigh*
If it sounds like sour grapes then you'd be right. To many years of disappointments, always supporting second place.

VY front looks better than what was in the spy shots. I only noticed the 4 doors after I posted!
I'm guessing it was shot in long grass to make it lower (looks like a fire hazard to me) :s6: I wonder what the bulge on the corner of the hood is for?

The RAPTOR will be similar to a BMW X5, the CROSS8 looks to be similar to an Audi Allroads or Volvo V70 Cross Country
