OK, some Holden loving moron will probably give me crap for this, but I find that 99% of all Holden fans, if you ask them why they like Holden, they will say "300 kW mate!!" Do people really think power is the only thing that makes a car?? What good is power if you don't have the chassis setup to match as is the case with Holden/HSV?

Firstly welcome to the board.

Secondly you are singing to the converted. I wouldn't go as far as suggest they know nothing about that of which they speak but there is no arguement that Holden hit a home run with the image they have. Illusion, yes we think so! Frustrating definately! Will the situation improve .... Keep the faith

What I usually find interesting is the amount of times that I find myself knowing more about Holden's products than a Holden lover does when I talk to them.

That is another good point, works the other way as well, but I know exactly what you are saying. Do HSV owners stand out just that little bit more, or is it just my friends that are like that?
