As some of yoy know, I work at holdens in Elizabeth. Just a little bit of warning to people who want to buy a vy. We are having loads of problems with parts fitting, cars jumping put of gear and a lot of othee things. There are alot of dodgy fixes that we and the mechanics have been told to do. If you are going to buy one, wait about 3-6 months before ordering as at the moment, the car is a bucket of s#&t. There is about 800 cars in our yard (growng by about 100 a day) that are missing alot of parts.

How can the VY be having these problems? If it is effectively a carried over VT (mechanically) than why would they turn up now, and not in earlier cars. Personally, I don't believe that post.

I guess so, but we have to remember that Holden employ thousands of people and no-one would want to see them out of a job.
After my visit to Ford and meeting some of there employees, there is a different feeling about them and I felt sorry for all the workers who have had a bad time since 1997 when the AU was released.
I think that you would be annoyed if some Holden supporters were saying similar things when the AU came out.

As I mentioned in the LS1 forum, I hope for Holden that is just a bad rumour.

Considering that the comment was made from an employee, he's either really concerned about the quality or not concerned about his job and the jobs of others.

The world is just too small for this sort of crap to be floating around the net. There must be plenty of Holden employees that read LS1.com.au and it wouldnt be hard to track down who the poster was.

Would you really be that stupid? Besides. Holden apparently Holden did 1.5million clicks in the VY. It cant be that bad can it?

Oh dear..If you have another read of the thread now, it appears it may be true..many of them seem to think so.

Let's not get too carried away or cocky with this stuff guys. Whether it's true or not, we should be more concerned with a successful launch of the Barra than getting excited about Holden's troubles.
