The Adventra will not be classed in the 4x2 Utility class so it will be stuck in the segment against the rest of the AWD SUV style wagons.

just because there are new types of utes doesnt mean extra sales per say.mostly is that the normal commodore ute sales will descrease as people who arent suited to the commodore now will instead buy the crewman, of course it might take some sales away from the falcon ute but overall sales in the ute sector wont grow greatly then the figures already.

Someone correct me if im wrong but i believe that Ford utes have always (or at least since the last one tonne holden ute) had a larger tare (but also leaf sprung suspension) and were hence more popular with tradesmen as you could actually carry shit around in it.

Now that Holden has rectified the problem by bringing in a holden ute that will actually be able to do some work, the sales have gone up

....much like Ford making a Falcon that doesn't make you dry reech when you look at it....funny what happens when you swallow pride, ignore market research and actually look at what the market wants.

Oh and witches really upset me too. Take me to my broomstick grr.

Crewman is the CROSS8 thats been in speculation for quite a while.

I believe that instead of the CROSS8 making more sales for holden, all it will do is eat sales away from the 2 door ute.

I dont think that holden will take the lead for a bit to come yet, the AU ute was a very good car, and the BA is that much better.
