The utes have better side impact protection due to the strength of their B pillars - the rear of the cabin acts as reinforcement. Front protection should be pretty similar, and rear impact safety I don't know about.

That's to be expected. Ford really only has the cabin for protection while the Holden side is all one peice.

but as said .42 is marginal maybe an extra bruse or something.
