Ok, shoot me down, ban me from the forums, whatever!!
BUT, I am just curious.
If you were to have a Holden, which one would it be??
I can understand if a few of you guys get offended, but there must be at least one from the darkside u admire!!!
For me, I would have a HK/T/G Kingswood
FJ wagon guarenteed. Ooops - no FJ wagons? There were 4 prototypes built with at least one still in circulation. But give me a sedan, a rusty panel van and a mig welder and wait and see what happens... Whack in a little 253 with injection heads and a stock looking intake manifold, add Holley projection and hide the lot under a stock gloss black FJ oil bath air cleaner. Grab half a dozen grey motor rocker covers, cut them up and weld them to suit the 253 and paint the engine in grey motor grey...and then tell everybody that you've got the one that got away - you know - the secret Holden prototype that nobody knew about when GM was planning on a V8 in the old J...
But a big block in a Brogham would do the job just nicely too...
Any of the VT series.... we have had a VT exec since new and still love it... there was no late model ford that I would have had instead of it ... errr... till I drove a TS50 that is!
Old time ... HR ... it was just sheer luck that Holden brought out a gooden to compete with the XR or Ford would have been No 1 in '67.
New ... a Munro would be orright but I'd have to get an instrument panel with a couple of real gauges on it ... and pleeeeease don't give me one with a yellow panel!!!!!!!
