What are the chances that we will ever see the things stolen again?

if your intrested in catching the bastards, start with pawn shops close to your area, sounds like drug additics.

they broke in through the back window when no one was home and put the stuff into bags. They even stole all the remotes for the tv, stereo, vcr, sound system etc without actually taking the tv, stereo and sound system in there. just being pricks. they obviously couldn't take the large stuff.

ashamed to say i know all about this kinda stuf from my earlier years
the remots got no street value meaning they proly got stolen/old tvs that dont have remotes, or there homies can use 1.
the back side means they had already scoped out the location, looking for the most inconscipous place to enter
preferbly low sound reflection.
alot more can be told by the entry point, u can drop many things, tools, pieces of papaer in your pocket etc etc
if they didnt take anything large they either were on foot or in a car if it was a late hour of the night they might use a car otherwise if theres any chance of sum 1 seeing them they woulda gone on foot , how close are the houses in your area togther?
Sounds like theres more than 1 person, young adlecents who dont realize the problems and time they run into over stupid remotes.
To be drivin to break in just for remotes, means they have to know you, or know sum 1 rellllay well that told em about all ur fancy remotes.
thye got bored or started feening for drugs/alchol put 2 and 2 togther and figure it out.
No criminial just starts walking and breaks in as soon as they think of it, there has to be a scopeout spot sumwhare near, a bush a ditch, arroyo, another persons house sumthing sumwhare they used, they proly called ur house to before they broke in, proly a blocked cell phone or a pay phone call

When our old place got broken into it was 3pm, Mum and I were walking home after she came to get me from school, and we saw a female sitting in a blue Laser on the corner next to our place, and a male leaning in the passenger window.
Looked like they were having an argument.

He looked up, saw we were heading back, and then got in the car, and they drove off.

Got into the house, found the wooden panel kicked in, in the back door, our 2 week old fishing rods were gone, and then the next day we found Dad's chainsaw in the backyard behind the carport at the side of the house.

That must have been what they were arguing about.
"Should I go back and get it?"
"Nah, we can't, they're coming back down the street. They'll see us. Lets go."
