How did you find Ford Forums?

I know alot of the Veteran users came over from BON, but since there is an abundance of new users that have signed up in the past few months, I was just Curious to know where you heard about this great site.
I joined to be precise on May 28th 2001, and I found out about this site when I was directed to a particular thread by someone chatting in mIRC.

I found out about FF through word of mouth... A couple of people where talking about it. And one day at work - I decided to find out what all the fuss was about.

How did you find FF?

We were having a quarterly info session at work (Ford) and Geoff Polities told us about these mad passionate one eyed Ford Freaks at fordforums.com. He told us how he posted on the site and how they all thought Ford was the greatest thing since sliced bread. When I heard that I thought that sounds like me! I tried to look up ff only I couldn't find it. The computer couldn't find fordforum.com (without the "s "on the end).
I the end I found it and after much lurking eventually registered on the 8th of August and so here I am at home posting on the forum between working on my car.
I must say the highlight of the whole thing was catching up with every body last October. I had trouble trying to remember everbodys name. I remember talking to Venom XR (Venom S back then form memory) and actually calling him Venom when Laminge helped me out with his real name.

I heard about it in BON, but I was unable to join until early may I think (crap ISP). FF is great, but its a shame BON died.

I joined BON just before their legal case with ford in 99, but I'm buggered if I know how I got there.

I found this site through BON and after lurking from Feb 2001 and then having trouble joining. Finally joined the fun June 19 (I think) 2001.
