Also anyone know of any good places to get free Mp3's (interested in whole albums) from the net?
Thanks
with the copy protection whats typically happening is that the computer reads the first session which is a data track and there is information on there saying to the computer (windows os actually) ignore this disc. You can get around this by holding down the shift key while inserting the disc. This supposedly fixes the issue.
I don't run windows, but i've heard of this problem and this is how you get around it.

Nero is good, so is Alcohol 120% and Blindwrite (I have heard Blindwrite is good but have not used it myself)... Alcohol 120% copies nearly everything!

Hahaha
If its audio: Don't use the copy cd function. Rip the tracks as mp3's first then reburn them to a cd. That usually works.
Failing that they say the copy protect track is the first on the outside of the cd. Apparently (i havent tried) u can use a black marker to cover over the top of that track to hide it. Then u just burn the cd as normal.
There should be some internet articles on this.
Program wise I use Nero or Roxio(adaptec) cd burner. The newest Roxio one is meant to be the sh*t. At 1gig in size a download off p2p sites I know I wont be d/l'ing it any time soon on 256k ADSL.....

Yeah CLONE CD is best for copying stuff a it reads the disc image rather than the data on the disc and bypasses any copy protection. Works for playstation games too.
