Drove down Anzac Highway(Adelaide) today at 10:30AM doing 'bout 75kph (It's a 60kph zone) before I hit the brake's to slow down because I noticed a cop showing off his radar gun. He was pointing it at me. I was well out in front of the pack of cars behind me.
The look he gave me when I drove past the bus stop he was hiding behind, leaning against it in the shade ofcourse, the look just said everything. "I know you were speeding but since you're in a NA Tickford VCT Fairlane and you don't carry yourself like a fat slob I'll let you go". The cop had snob value!
He literally craned his head around the bus stop watching me like a hawk; making eye contact with me the whole time and then just goes back to 'car spotting'. Could he be stuffed getting on his BMW bike? Who knows? But you know the feeling when you know you've done something wrong and then been sprung! I was about to pullover just so he did'nt have to chase me down... that's how much I knew I was a gonner.
So I went out and bought a Maxi pick lotto & a 1 and 2 dollar scratch tickets. And the Fairlane got booked in for a detail. BTW, made a dollar profit on the two scratchies that cost all up three bucks.
well gj to you... do you know where seaview high school is by any chance?
