yay me. i'm at work right now on a saturday morning compiling documentation on how to install windows 2000.. and give it some SP3 lovin, and office 2000, and ie6 , and ... yes i'm rambling.

not my idea of fun, but it passes time, and time that i'm being payed and extra 50% for. oh wait.. now i'm on double.(Still doesnt help the junior award rate! grr)

anyone wanna know shat about computers? hit me.

I am at home, writing and compiling doco on common issues and their associated fixes for the following (Client specific):

Lotus Notes.
Lotus Organiser.
MS Office suite (2k).
Various Network stuff, mainly NT 4.0 server, Win2k server and Domino.
2k Clents and NT Clients.
The basic Network Architecture.
Various Web based clientside applications.

I also have to figure out how I am effectivley going to descibe the sensitivity of this client, while ensuring that when the client read's said document, that they will be happy!

Being in IT has its advantages. Having a personal server with almost 400 GB of various 'stuff' and an Internet link that, once the web filters are temporarily turned off, becomes your own personal pr0n pipe!

But I agree, writing doco sucks. Especially when you are a techie and are writing doco for schmucks. My belief is don't bother because the morons will still come to you asking this does or what that means. When that happens you use your admin powers for evil against their PC...

/me knows what you mean. i dont bother teaching anyone anything ne more it is just easyer to fix it your self 10 times over then try to expain it to a moron.

Slothman: I already have a server to the internet. a full terabyte of storage, 12mb connection and dual 19" screens......comes in handy when you are surfing two porn sites at once. Double the action double the pleasure.

ohhhh now thats the stuff dreams are made of. could just about try and download the internet with that.
