I have done 12,500km since start of yr. mostly driving on weekends with a few long trips.....

My biggest year was over 288,000km (2001). Most are at least 40,000km although I've slacked off a lot lately.

My brother is a courier and travels about 50k per year.....
what car was it in too??

I was transporting cars for Ford Australia

Add that to the miles driven to and from work, trips to visit the parents, etc etc and it's an easy task. My brother did over 300,000km in the same year just on the job (driving refrigerated transport trucks)!
