Eg: servo , Ford dealership etc.

I've had my last 2 and present 3 cars serviced at Strapp Ford in Doncaster (Vic).
Have always found the staff to be courteous, well trained and reasonably priced.

In terms of costs - here go the exact numbers: (these include tyres, brakes, etc.

TE50 $3,905 / 45,000 km = 8.5 c/km
Cougar $898 / 28,000 km = 3.3 c/km
AU XR6 VCT $1337 / 21,000 = 6.6 c/km
Laser = $235 / 12,000 km = 1.9 c/km

Got the Pursuit Festy serviced today.. $192.00 including wheel balance & alignment. I can live with that every 10k.

What the f u c k nearly 4 grand for a service? More like 400 id say.

I get mine done by a legend of a bloke called John who owns ABS Mechanical at Kings Park his the only person I'd ever trust the car with

Anyone in Geelong I'll do a homer, 50 bucks and Ill change your oil filter, and make sure that tranny fluid you could never check with a dipstick is still in there (falcons only).:s5

i do my own service every 5000km, filters n oil, check everything else.

then due to warranty take my car to waneroo engine reconditioners every 10,000km to service the car, and stamp my book, i supply everything, they do it for free.

went to Lynford ozzie park, will never take it there again! 4 faulty plugs, charged thru the roof, waste of my time, and will never take it to DVG leederville (bought car thru DVG) they fuct the entire engine! things still wrong with it, but sorting it out, bit by bit.

but waneroo engine reconditioners know there shit! head mechanic is gf's father, and i trust him with my car, no matter how much shit he gives me all the time, high class mechanics they are

If I cant be bothered doing it myself, or sweet talking a mate to do it for me...

I take it to Midas - $79 for a minor service, $169 for a major service.
