well as a mechanic I earn around 25k...although for about 2 years in Germany I was making around 65 as a contractor for the US Army....I would go back to that but they do not provide for families and I'd rather live with mine so all in all I'm pleased...but am looking to move upwards....

Hi everybody, new guy here. Make about 29G on the low end and about 35G on a full year. Seasonal work, laid off in the winter. Tractor Trailer Dump driver for a local concrete company.
Like me, you are in reality, a "kept man" I like that better than "mr mom, house husband" or what ever. Da wife works for the post office ,rural delivery. It pays good, but,man does it beat a vehicle up. My wife is one of the fastest in the office. This means that the s.u.v. does 462 stops (yea, thats right) faster than anyone else. I can change brakes in 20 minutes, Ive gotten that used to it. However I always find something else that needs repair. I never get to work on my toys!! The good part, I don't let her (ab)use a Ford like that. Tear up them Chevys!! we bring in 45 to 65 per year, depending. Keeps the parts stores happy.
