The problem with the protective coat is just that, if you can only see the amount of crap that sits on your car before its delivered from a build, the coat basically seals in everything.
I rather see a professional remove all imperfections, swirls, crap.. wax, polish and seal... and then youve got a top notch finish that can be maintained for a good twelve months with min of fuss!
