I think he means that it's just the standard tickford snorkel. It's certainly not a cold air intake.

The problem is they can be had for less than he's asking brand new from Ford, I think I paid approx $40 for my last one.

"Cold air intake" would have to be the biggest wank factor name for a mod ever. Sure they can do something, but the VS S/C intake on your stock VN does jack shit other than make noise.
