I don't think the BA will overtake any sales records. But it will eclipse AU (sales/month) quickly, although I wonder if there will be a 'hangover' from the poor styling of the AU and the discounting that came with it. Its Commodore competitor, despite the fact we know little about it, will not give sales away like the AU did to the VT.
I can see Commdore being the top selling car for 12 months (at least) into the life of the BA, while BA finds its feet in the market. Although for the first 12 months of BA, Holden will be fighting with its old Buick motor... so who knows?
After that I imagine that we will return to the days of old where Ford and Holden regularly exchange the title of top selling car every 1,2, or 3 years. It will be a very even fight. I look forward to "competition improving the breed".
