Hp Heroes in a few years time: How good will it be!

With old tech holden V8s cracking 1000hp with turbos, how much power will more modern weapons like the gen III and Modular 5.4s be making when they get blown. Especially with the DOHC engines ability to rev. The Turbo ford six should throw a cat in amongst the VL turbo pidgeons as well. Should be a great show in the years to come.

There are already some very high power LS1's being built, one wasn't ready for this years HP Heros.

I wager Rob Vickery will get some competition next year.

I am really looking forward to seeing how the next HP Hero comp goes...

I remember the first summernats I went to. (Summernats 10). They where hoping to have someone crack the 400 hp mark!! Didnt happen then, but they did it at Summernats 11 !!

now its past the 1000 mark !! Who is gonna be first to pass 1200 ???

For sure!

It certainly will be interesting in the coming years though.

Is HP heroes going to continue? I heard it was being killed off because the crowd risk is so high insurance is unobtainable.

Sounds like a bunch of tree hugging hippie people are at it again as always. I hope the HP hero's continue though, we don't want another era of people dreaming of the past for big hp's like the 80's.
