Brand new store in Carillion Arcade. Called Lions Den and it stocks only HRT / HSV merchandise. Went in there today and was BLOWN AWAY!!! I have only seen one better, and that was the Arsenal shop in London which caters to a much larger population.
The range of gear includes;
block mounted posters
T-Shirts - many styles and colours
Caps
Jackets
Shot glasses, Beer glasses etc
Keyrings
Mountain Bikes ($1995.00 )
Boxers
Watches
Models
Quilt covers
Sunnies
and more.
Sensational selection of stuff, especially the T-shirts. Almost made me want to change sides, but then I would have to like the Zzz Gemini...and I dont think I could manage that.
However, I think their position in the city, combined with Perths small population may mean the store will close after 6 months. But at least they tried.
How about it Ford? I am not asking for a shop, just the gear. And while you are at it, make some 'RS' logo stuff too.

Yep wise idea to open a HSV shop when HSV popularity is about to go down hill, with the Uggliest range released so far.

My fiancee (just as much a Ford nut as I) said that it's hideous, with that amount of merchandise, getting beyond silly in some instances.
I was in that store the other day, and my god, dont they have some merchandise?!
It's all about getting the brand out there, you cant beat it. Ford could learn quite a bit off Holden with this type of marketing. That is why all the kids are into Holden's, they are bombarded with the brand, it is everywhere.
Good move I think to do it, whether or not it works is another thing, but....
There merchandise is second to none as much as I hate to say it but it obviously works and quite well. I've heard with the amount off money they make out off their merchandise is enough to fund the TWR opperation running cost's for a year.We really need a range of mercandise as veried as their's to be competitive.
