As CDAA will no doubt advise, use of the HSV logo is subject to copyright laws ... I'd be careful advertising bootleg items on such a public forum ...
Who said the sticker of the logo was a bootleg? Font stickers are nothing to be made up these days, so the 'I Just beat one" is fine, and even if it is bootlegged, he's not saying where he got it.

Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
It's not meant to be taken as offense, just a play at there "I just want one" campain...
No one is going to sue anyone, and I am sure if it got that far, it doesn't take much to remove the sticker... And I am not the one making them, and I don't know who makes them, but I can get them...
I actually thinkit's funny :) But I also know how anal HSV can be about their logo, having seen the fuss they kicked up when people I know asked them for permission to use it themselves ...

Well I asked for that! But you’re right. The person that is in violation of HSV's intellectual property is actually the sign manufacture or person who changed or copied the original, not the owner of the car (unless they created the sticker of course).
Not that HSV would bother taking such action in an isolated case, however they would if someone was mass producing them for resale.
It could be argued that what appears on the sticker is in fact 2 separate items and the original HSV sticker is genuine and just happens to be placed above the other one.
You guys really wanted to know all this didn't you (NOT) lol
yeah fair enough I see your point..but its not like the guy is making money off it is he. And if he was im sure a large percentage of teh profits would be funded straight back into the FF vault.
Anyway I hope BigEdy didn't post this just to stir s#@t. I mean why would someone who owns a wrx post somethign on a ford forum site just because it bags holden...hmmm.
